The Witch: Part 2. The Other One – A Deep Dive
So, I just got back from watching “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” and I have a lot of thoughts about it. First of all, let me start by saying that I absolutely loved the first movie, so my expectations were sky-high for this one. And boy, did it deliver!
Storyline
The storyline of “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” picks up right where the first movie left off. We follow Elsbeth, the daughter of the witch from the first movie, as she tries to navigate her newfound powers and figure out who she really is. Along the way, she meets a cast of characters who all have their own agendas and motives.
The plot is full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire movie. I won’t give anything away, but let’s just say that there were multiple moments where I audibly gasped in shock.

The cast of “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” is absolutely stellar. Anya Taylor-Joy returns as Elsbeth and gives an incredibly nuanced performance that perfectly captures her character’s struggles with identity and power.
Newcomer Mia Goth also shines as Elsbeth’s friend and confidante, and her chemistry with Taylor-Joy is palpable.
